Catherine Anne O'Hara (Toronto, 4 de marzo de 1954)[1] es una actriz y humorista canadiense-estadounidense ganadora de los Premios Emmy y los Premios Gemini,[2] reconocida por su trabajo de comedia en SCTV y por sus papeles en películas como Delia Deetz en Beetlejuice,[3] Kate McCallister en Home Alone,[4] Sally en The Nightmare Before Christmas y la serie de falsos documentales escritos y dirigidos por Christopher Guest. Además, prestó su voz en la serie de televisión de Nick @ Nite Glenn Martin, DDS, como Jackie Martin. Actualmente es conocida por la comedia Schitt's Creek, en la que interpreta a Moira Rose.

Vida personal

Se ha nacionalizado estadounidense y, en el año 1992, se casó con el diseñador de producción/director Bo Welch y tiene dos hijos, Matthew (nacido en 1994) y Luke (nacido en 1997). Hermana de la cantante-compositora Mary Margaret O'Hara, también es una cantante y compositora, habiendo escrito y actuado en las canciones de la película de 2003 A Mighty Wind. Tiene una afección conocida como Dextrocardia con situs inversus.[5]
